Can you feel it? Yes - the days are definitely getting longer! Perhaps you have been too busy reading E-Cass to notice but the Winter Solstice has arrived. So too have many fine contributions to the current issue. Of special note are the two feature articles on the legacy and future of the CFHT as well as a very brief book review of A Gentle Rain of Starlight: The Story of Astronomy on Mauna Kea by Michael West.
