A Gentle Rain of Starlight

 

A new book sure to be of interest to CASCA members is A Gentle Rain of Starlight: The Story of Astronomy on Mauna Kea by Michael West. The publisher describes it as follows:

The book is intended for general readers, it's not technical. In addition to the text, the 108 page book is full of color photographs, most of which I took myself, with others generously provided by the Mauna Kea observatories, Hawaii State Archives, NASA, and other photographers.
