In June, NRC pledged an increase of $50 millions over 5 years, for the international Astronomy Projects and for the Canada-U.S. NAPRA Agreement. The NRC Press release was announced at the CASCA meeting by the Honourable Allan Rock, Minister of Industry, and the Honourable Rey Pagtakhan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Secretary of State (Science, Research and Development).	En juin, le CNRC a promis d'augmenter de $50 Millions sur 5 ans, son budget pour les projets internationaux en astronomie et le partenariat Nord-Americain en radioastronomie entre le Canada et les Etats-Unis. Le Communiqué du CNRC fut annoncé au congrès de la CASCA par l'honorable Allan Rock, ministre de l'Industrie et l'honorable Rey Pagtakhan, ministre des Anciens Combattants et secrétaire d'Etat (Sciences, recherche et développement).
This Spring, NRC HIA issued several Press releases, on weighting a black hole by Chris Willott's team, on first science with Megaprime for CFHT, and on first science with Altair for Gemini.	Ce printemps, l'IHA du CNRC a émis plusieurs Communiqués de presse, sur la mesure d'un trou noir par Chris Willott et son équipe, sur la nouvelle science avec Megaprime pour le TCFH, et sur la nouvelle science avec Altair pour Gémini.
HIA's CADC announced in June the "first data release" from the CFHT Legacy Survey, to the CFHT Legacy Survey community. To join the LS community, please register with the CFHT Director in Hawaii. Late April, the NRC Canadian National Committee for the Union Radio Science Internationale held its annual meeting in Ottawa. At the meeting, David Routledge (U. Alberta), tabled the annual report for Canadian radio astronomy.	Fin avril, le Comité National Canadien du CNRC pour l'Union Radio Science Internationale a tenu son assemblée annuelle à Ottawa. A cette rencontre, David Routledge (U. Alberta), a déposé son rapport annuel sur la radioastronomie canadienne.
On May 1, Richard Normandin was named NRC Vice-President for the Physical Sciences & Engineering portfolio. HIA now reports to this NRC portfolio as of April 4th, while previously it reported to the Technology & Industry Support portfolio. Normandin visited HIA - Victoria on June 3rd. He obtained his PhD in Physics (U. of Toronto), has been a NRC summer student at the Algonquin Radio Observatory, and is involved in microstructural science.	Le 1 mai, Richard Normandin fut nommé Vice-Président du CNRC pour le portfolio des Sciences physiques et Ingénierie. L'IHA appartient maintenant à ce portfolio depuis le 4 avril, ayant appartenu jadis à celui du Support industriel et technologique. Normandin a visité l'IHA - Victoria le 3 juin. Il a obtenu son PhD en physique de l'Univ. de Toronto, a été un étudiant d'été à l'Observatoire Algonquin de Radioastronomie, et travaille dans la science des microstructures.
On 1 April, the Astronomy Technology Research Groups (ATRG-Victoria and ATRG - Penticton) replaced the Instrument Group in Victoria and the Radio Astronomy Technology Research Group in Penticton, respectively.	Le 1er avril, les Groupes de recherches en technologie astronomique (GRTA-Victoria et GRTA-Penticton) ont remplacé le Groupe des instruments à Victoria et le Groupe de recherches en technologie radioastronomique à Penticton, respectivement.
In the first week in June, HIA hosted the ALMA Week 2003, held at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Victoria. About 100 people attended this event. The focus was to review the progress as it moves from concept to construction, and to ensure that standards and interfaces are well understood.	Dans la première semaine de juin, l'IHA a été l'hôte de la Semaine ALMA 2003, tenue à l'Hotel Grand Pacific de Victoria. Environ 100 personnes ont participé à cet événement. On a focussé sur une revue des progrès sur la route de la conception à la construction, et de s'assurer qu'on s'entend bien sur les standards et les interfaces.
In June, Ming Zhu joined the HIA Millimetre Astronomy Group and he will be based at the JCMT in Hilo. PhD (2001, U. of Toronto), Ming is a specialist on star formation in interacting galaxies. Also in June, Henry Matthews will transfer from Hilo to HIA in Penticton. Henry has helped a lot of Canadians visiting the JCMT, among many other helps he gave to submm radio astronomy.	En juin, Ming Zhu s'est joind au Groupe d'astronomie millimétrique de l'IHA et il sera déployé au TJCM à Hilo. PhD (2001, Univ. Toronto), Ming est un spécialiste de la formation des étoiles dans les galaxies en interaction. Egalement en juin, Henry Matthews fait un transfer de Hilo à l'IHA à Penticton. henry a aidé beaucoup de visiteurs canadiens au TJCM, et aussi la radioastronomie sous-mm.
In honour of Don Morton's 70th birthday, HIA held a one-day symposium on June 13th. Astronomers from HIA, U.Victoria, UBC, and U. Washington participated.	Pour honorer le 70e anniversaire de Don Morton, l'IHA a tenu un symposium d'un jour le 13 juin. Des astronomes de l'IHA, U.Victoria, UBC, et U. Washington y ont participé.
