The Department of Physics and Astronomy, at the University of Calgary, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates should have experience in the field of Astrophysics, hold a PhD or equivalent, and preferably have post-doctoral experience. The Department has strong programs in UV, optical, infrared, and radio astronomy, and operates the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory in the foothills of Calgary. Any application in these areas will be considered with special interest in infrared/submm or radio astrophysics, either ground or space based. Candidates will be assessed on teaching experience, research experience, and research productivity.
