CANADIAN ASTRONOMY PREPRINTS

We (the UofT Astronomy Library) receive fewer paper preprints each year as institutions around the world forego mailing them out in favour of posting them on the web. (We reached a peak in 1994 as did other major astronomy libraries.) This reduction in number certainly includes Canadian preprints and the time has come (indeed it is well past) when the list that we can produce no longer accurately reflects Canadian research activity. Consequently, we will no longer publish such a list in Cassiopeia.

Find alternate sources of e-prints and read about a project to coordinate astronomy preprint distribution on our astronomy preprints information page.

We are still collecting paper preprints and would be happy to receive any you would like to send us. Thank you.

[Ed Note: It is the astronomy community who should be thanking Marlene (the royal we of above) for faithfully bringing these pages to us for these many years.]
